Ravenel post office named for Islandton native | News | The Press and Standard

Islandton native Curtis Inabinett Sr. has had a post office box at the Ravenel Post Office for 60 years. Now, his name is on the building.

In dedication ceremonies Thursday morning, the Ravenel Post Office was designated as the Representative Curtis B. Inabinett Sr. Post Office.

U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, D-Columbia, sponsored the legislation that named the Ravenel post office in Inabinett’s honor. Thursday, Clyburn was the guest speaker during the dedication ceremonies.
